  While I have not used the restaurant or the snack shop, the coffee shop has food for relatively reasonable prices, considering its a museum. All in all, if you haven't been to this museum and you have kids, give it a try, they'll love it which means, you'll love it too.

  The displays were nice but the information was lacking and it was hard to find English on most of the signs. They took the village exhibit away upstairs which I thought was the best part and the descriptions of the artifacts are very very vague. Has gone downhill considerably since the renovations. 2 out of 5 stars. The museum of science and technology is much better

  As for the museum itself, the adult portion, the grand Hall of Canada's history is something to behold. The large totem poles demonstrate Canada's rich aboriginal history as well as showing how the first Canadians lived.

  Very interesting! Normally I get bored pretty fast at these types of museums but it was all very visual and interactive. The indigenous sections were very well done and interesting!

  The musique regularly has special exhibits that the layman would find very interesting. Finally, of you haven't been to the Imax theatre within the museum, it's a must do. The screen is the largest you will likely ever see and they often have movies that appeal to kids and adults alike.

  I have been here countless times I love our Canadian military history and this Museum captures a significant amount of its history and artifacts. The staff have a wealth of knowledge of Canadian military history and are very friendly and approachable. Family and friends that come out of town the Canadian military museum has always been a must-visit while in Ottawa. Highly recommended guaranteed will be impressed.

  A great place to know the history of Canada. They use some modern technics to present the old things and offer some cute quiz games. It makes you enjoy and impressed with the exhibition.

  This museum has something for everyone. I come here often with the kids who can't get enough of the children's museum which is not your typical museum. Anything the kids see can be touched and climbed. There is a theatre where they can play dress up, an arts and crafts room, and a world exhibit full of houses, kitchens, a pyramid, and more toys.
